LOGLINE
In a small suburban area where pleasure equals being possessed by spiritual beings, Bayu aspires to be the shaman for the regular trance parties, becoming a central figure in solving the area’s crisis in the face of an impending eviction.
SYNOPSIS
Latas Village is known for its trance parties where spirit channelers guide participants into possession. When a developer threatens the village’s sacred Spring, a competition is held to select a new spiritual leader capable of saving the community.
Bayu enters the selection hoping to prove himself, but as his ambition grows, he risks losing the relationships that ground him. Ultimately, he must reconcile personal desire with collective responsibility.
